8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a best-in-class contract with a $50 billion ceiling focusing on Information Technology (IT).
STERLING, VA —Longeviti, LLC was awarded a U.S. General Services 8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The 8(a) STARS program is known governmentwide as a best-in-class, easy-to-use, and streamlined procurement solution to purchase information technology services from 8(a) prime contractors. The STARS III contract has a contract ceiling of $50 billion and period of performance up to 8-years.
“Longeviti has been performing work under the predecessor 8(a) STARS II contract for the past five years. This contract has been very good to Longeviti and our DoD and federal government customers, which is why we are excited to support those customers in meeting their IT services-based solution needs, such as Cyber Security, IT Engineering and Integration, under the STARS III contract,” said Longeviti President and CEO Brandon Long.
The 8(a) GWAC STARS III contract is a multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (MA-ID/IQ) contract providing federal agencies with innovative IT services-based solutions while meeting their socioeconomic contracting and category management goals. Through 8(a) STARS III, agencies can access Longeviti through an established contract vehicle, with a low contract access fee – saving time and taxpayer money over open-market methods. 8(a) STARS III allows for directed orders at or below the competitive threshold, currently $4.5M.
